Consultant: Solving Real-Life Problems at Technovanza

In Consultant, participants took on the role of professional business advisers. Teams of two to four people took part.

Rounds

1. Round one. Teams received problem statements and sent in their proposed solutions by email. This round took place two days before the three festival days.
2. Round two. Shortlisted teams were given real-life problems to consult on. They presented to a jury, which questioned them on their reasoning and chose the winners.

Skills involved

Consulting contests reward structured thinking, quick analysis and clear presentation under pressure. The event belonged to the management track along with Adomania and the 50 rupee venture. See the overview.
