This 1960 born memory wizard with master degrees in chemistry and education, started his career in 1982 as a chemist in the corporate sector. After three years of service he took to teaching and had a long innings of 17 years as an academician. And in 2004, he turned to be a full time international memory trainer conducting memory enhancement programmes for varied sections of the public, corporate personnel and student communityin particular.
He has represented India three times in world memory championships, once in mind sports olympics, once in Dutch Open Rubik’s Cube Championship, once in Japan Open Rubik's Cube Championship and once in World Rubik's Cube Championship. He is the first Indian to win the prestigious title GRAND MASTER OF MEMORY. He holds several national records on memory – memorized 3600 binary digits, 2400 random numbers, 20 packs of cards, memorised 90 spoken numbers, memorised a pack of cards in 96.75 seconds and solved 7 Rubik’s cube blindfolded etc. He is also a human calendar.
