1. Maximum truck dimensions should not exceed (25cm*25cm*30cm).
2. Either wired or wireless controls may be used.
3. The length of wire (if used) should be at least 5m external to the body of truck.
4. A hook is a must have for the monster truck as it would be essential to pull the carriage full of load in the second round that is power pull.
5. Maximum power at any point in the circuit should not exceed 24watts that is (max. 12v AC/DC & max. 2amps).A wattage control circuit will be introduced in between the power supply and the trucks wiring.
6. Batteries of same wattage specified above can be used (preferably outside the truck).
7. Every team should bring their own (short proof) power supply.
8. Team name/ truck name should be clearly visible on the truck.
MARKING SCHEME:
ROUND 1:
The truck which will cover longest distance will get the highest points (maximum points -50).
ROUND 2: Points will be given for the maximum weight pulled by the truck. (maximum points -50)
ROUND 3:
The track consists of several checkpoints at each difficulty. So the truck crossing more checkpoints will be the one to get maximum points (maximum points -100) Along with this, time constrains will also play an important role since the truck completing the lap in minimum time will get corresponding bonus points out of 50. Thus, the truck getting highest total score out of 250 will be declared as winner. |
