General rules: 2.The dimensions of the robot should be within:- Base(including wheels): (25cms x 25cms) Minimum lifting height : 55cms 3.A single controller will control the same robot throughout the event. Swapping of robot or controller is not allowed. 4.Disassembly or breaking off of any part resulting in debris on the track will lead to disqualification of the machine. The decision regarding this will be at the sole discretion of the organizers. 5.Use of mechano sets and Lego sets is prohibited. The use of readymade gear assemblies and manufactured assemblies is not allowed. 6.At no point during the race should the connecting wires be taut. Failure to observe this constraint will lead to disqualification. 7.The judges’ decision shall be final and binding. 8.Judges reserve a right to call a retry depending on the merit of the situation. 9.Rules and regulations are subject to minor changes. Track details are subject to minor changes. 10.The participants are requested to bring their own power supplies and related equipments. They will be responsible for their own equipment. 1.The participant is not allowed to touch the object to be lifted and placed at the required locations, nor is he/she allowed to touch the track or any of its parts. Failure to observe this constraint will lead to disqualification. 2.In case the object falls off the pillars due to the robot not placing the object correctly at the required location, the volunteers will place the object back to its initial position and the task has to be repeated. |
| Track Details |
1.The entire track is divided into 2 halves for 2 separate participants. The upper and lower halves are exactly similar to each other.
2.Robot 1 moves along the upper half of the track in counter clockwise direction, while its opponent Robot 2 moves along the lower half of the track in clockwise direction.
3.Each robot starts with lifting object 1 and placing it on the scrap yard A (or pillar A) heighted 25cms. Then the robot moves onto scrap yard B, lifts the object 2 placed on scrap yard B and places the object 2 on scrap yard C. Scarp yards B and C are heighted at 15cms and 35cms respectively.
4.After this the bots move to the object 3, lift the object 3, turn around by 180 degrees, move to scrap yard D, place the object on scrap yard D heighted at 45cms and complete the task by crossing the finish line.
5. FOR THE ELIMINATION ROUNDS :
Only a single robot will operate at a time.
The robot will perform the same above described task but only upto lifting object 2 from scrap yard B and placing it on scrap yard C ( i.e. the entire point no. 2 as specified above).
The time taken will be recorded.
6. In the 1st and 2nd ROUNDS there will be head to head matches involving both robots 1 and 2. The robot completing the entire task described above will qualify to the next round .

| Object Specifications |
A 3d model of the cube(object) will be put up soon. Object Specifications:
Object: Cube Side: 10cm Ring inner diameter: 2cm Material: 1. Thermacole 2. Card Paper 3. Wood Weight: 100gm Above specifications are subjected to an error of 10%. |
| Eliminations |
| Criteria for qualification to the next round:- 1.In the elimination rounds, the robot has to perform the task of lifting 2 different objects from 2 different locations and placing them at the required spots. 2.Maximum time allowed to perform the task will be 3 minutes. 3.The time taken will be recorded. The elimination will be judged on the amount of time taken. 4.If the above task is not completed within the allotted time of 3 minutes, the number of objects placed at the required spots will be considered. 5.If the robot is not capable of placing even a single block at the required location it will be disqualified. 6.Thus, the order in which qualification would take place is as follows : i.Those who have completed the entire task in less than 3 minutes. Amongst these the order of qualification would be in the increasing order of time taken to complete the task. ii.Those who manage to place only a single block at the required location after the completion of time of 3 minutes allotted. iii.If not a single block is placed at the required locations, the participant would be eliminated. |
