Ever wondered how a Real Estate Developer’s mind works??? Sim City will give you an insight on how Property Developers and Infrastructure Companies operate and make their killing. It will make you think like a budding developer does.

Become a Developer and decide which Land to buy or which Tender to bid for so that you make maximum profit. After all money is all that matters in Real Estate.
Each team will consist of 2-3 players and each team should carry their calculators for calculation purpose. There will be elimination rounds on the first two days. Winners of these elimination rounds will play the final round on the third day.

Rules

1. All teams will start the game-play at the same time.
2. Each team will start with equal funds, equal occupancy (construction capacity) and 0 experience points.
3. The game has 2 aspects- Plots and Tenders.
4. All the plots from a selected zone are available at the beginning of the game
5. Tenders will be allotted by a bidding process and the team with the min bid will be allotted the tender.
6. At the beginning of the game, to buy a plot one requires only sufficient funds and does not require any experience points. But as the game proceeds, one must have sufficient funds as well as experience points.
7. The team gains experience points as it completes the construction on the plots bought at the beginning.
8. The occupancy restricts a team to a limited number of projects at a certain time.
9. The game will last for 1hour and the team with the max funds will win the game.

Plots

1. After a plot is bought, the team will choose to develop it whenever he wishes.
2. There will be three types of development options for a plot, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.
3. The team will select the development option which they think they should go for.
4. A certain amount of construction cost will be deducted according to the development option selected by the team. Details of these development options will be given in the manual provided while playing..
5. Development of each plot will take 5 minutes.
6. Once the development of the plot is over the team will have to put in its selling price, when it matches the market price the SELL will happen and the funds will be credited to the teams account.

Tender

1. Tenders of infrastructure projects will be available for bidding 5 minutes after the game starts.
2. Tenders will appear on the screen every 5 minutes. The bidding time for these will be 5 minutes after which new tenders will appear.
3. To bid for a tender, a team needs to have minimum required experience points and fund mentioned in the tender.
4. To get a tender bid accepted, the bid must be the lowest.
5. Calculate the cost of project from the info given. And bid accordingly.
6. The amount of bid will be cut from your account when the tender is sanctioned to you.
7. You can bid only once within the 5 minutes for which the tender is on the screen
8. After you get the tender construction of project begins. Each tender has a different construction time.
9. After completion of Project the funds are transferred to your account.
