theTrilogy is a C/C++ coding event which involves the following 3 main sections:

· fireBug: Put your Debugging skills to the test; whack your brains and locate the bug in this action-packed time based event.

· codeDecode: Predict the output of the given code.

· cloneIt: An executable file will be given to you, written in a specific logic. Rack your brains and code it all over.

• Codes will be based on ANSI standards. (Not TurboC/C++)
• Points to each question are allotted on basis of level of difficulty.
• Two online elimination rounds and two onsite will be conducted. If the participant does not get past the 1st round, he is eligible to attempt for the second round.
• Maximum team size: 2
• Students qualifying online eliminations will be promoted to the finals.
• The onsite elimination round would be conducted on Day 1 and Day 2.
• Finals would be conducted on Day 3.
• Participants reaching the finals will be awarded participation certificates.1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners will be awarded special rank certificates.
• Onsite round participants have 90 mins to complete a fixed number of questions from the three sections. The final points would be judged on the average of the three sections' points.

• Online elimination round commences on the 16th of January, 2010(Saturday) at 1700 hrs and are to be submitted by the 17th of January, 2010, 1700hrs. Result will be announced by 20th January, 2010. 

• Onsite Elimination round would be conducted on Day 1. At the end of the day, the team members would be notified via sms/e-mail about their qualification to the finals.

• Finals would be on Day 2/3. The timing of the finals would be notified to the finalists.
