Ever played the role of an international spy who intercepts secret messages and breaks the code?? Well… here’s your chance!! Here at d’Cipher, all you have to do is crack a code and tell us what the original message was. You can make use of your own algorithms or else your brains will do just fine.

Decrypt the messages given to you & be fast on your way to becoming a super crypto-analyst. A perfect way to exercise your grey cells!

1. Team Size - maximum 2 members.
2. All source code has to be original. Use of any non-standard library is NOT permitted. A team will be disqualified if it has used the same. (Note: For C/C++ coders, use of Turbo C++ is not permitted).
3. A solution will be deemed as correct if the decrypted text is correct. Wherever applicable, the corresponding source code used to decrypt the text should be submitted.
4. The decision of the Event Heads is final.

Elimination rounds:
Online: 19th January, 2010, 1800hrs - 21st January 2010, 1800hrs

Online: 27th January, 2010, 1800hrs - 29th January 2010, 1800hrs

Onsite: 5th February, Duration: 2 hours

Finals:
Onsite: 7th February, Duration: 2 hours
